Being asked to photograph weddings is a true privilege. Especailly as it is a day the bride and groom and their families will treasure forever. From a photographer's point of view it can be quite a sensitive assignment as you have to be present without being too visible. Anticipation and a bit of luck is the name of the game! This photo couldn't have been more perfect if it had been staged which I am happy to say it wasn't!

Taking the official photographs is fun too. There usually isn't much time sceduled for taking those photos yet they are an essential part of the assignment. |

Recently I was asked to photograph an Asian wedding which I found fascinating. The ritual is so very different to most weddings I have photographed and I felt very horoured to be allowed into a community that is different to my own heritage. |
