Being asked to photograph weddings is a true privilege. Especially as it is a day the bride and groom and their families will treasure forever.
From a photographer's point of view it can be quite a sensitive assignment as you have to be present without being too visible.
Anticipation and a bit of luck is the name of the game!
This photo couldn't have been more perfect if it had been staged which I am happy to say it wasn't!
I was also asked to photograph an Asian wedding which I found fascinating.
The ritual is so very different to most weddings I have photographed and I felt very honoured to be allowed into a community that is different to my own heritage.
Photographing a Buddhist wedding was equally enchanting!
The Ceremony was held at Taplow Court, The SGI-UK National Center and Grand Cultural Center, Taplow near Maidenhead in Berkshire.
