For me photographing sporting events goes hand in hand with compelling excitement. It also requires sharp reflexes, good knowledge of the chosen sports, a flair for anticipating the action that lies ahead and a keen and accurate eye.... and of course a bit of luck!
Sporting events invite the photographer to capture achievements that key players seem to pull off effortlessly.
It also lends itself to documenting the drama and the thrills and spills of sport.
