I see working in portraiture as a very intimate experience. It allows me to connect with the people I photograph on a personal level. I find it important to strike a rapport based on trust and understanding. It is vital to put people at ease.
The camera is purely the instrument that helps record a special moment, a distinctive look or a unique mood.
