For me 2000 brought about the beginning of a different type of photographic expression. I ventured into more abstract imaging. And draw my inspiration from nature's innumerable colours and countless shapes. None of the images are manipulated in any way. I work purely with given light, a specific choice of lenses and different focusing points.

First photographic exhibition summer 2000:

Unicorn Gallery, London
theme:
"An Artistic Interpretation of the Horse in Action"

Further photographic exhibition March 2002:

Studio Gallery, Vienna
theme: "Colours and Shapes"

For me photographing is like letting my senses take over. I set out to capture moments, moods, atmospheres with a view of immortalizing them. Taking pictures is a very personal experience. Photographing is interacting with a subject on a very personal basis.

My intentions are to provoke thoughts, to bring about a mood and to let the viewers get in touch with their emotions. I want my images to be intriguing and inspiring. They should stir up an emotion, preferably a pleasant one! My goal has been achieved when the viewer wants to look at one of my images over and over again without getting tired of it.

Photography is a medium that gives the viewer the opportunity of looking at an image and letting their imagination and feelings take over.
